Middle School
Aerospace Program
Explore our Middle School Aerospace Program where student have the opportunity to gain hands on experience through project based learning, field research, and high-level educational opportunities. Students explore curriculum in the major areas of technology in aerospace industry designed by Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE). Students have the opportunity to earn high school credits and discover aerospace careers.

Aviator Leadership Program
In partnership with Wings of Grace Ministries
Program Overview
The LFEC STREAM Academy Aviation Leadership Program, in partnership with Wings of Grace Ministries, provides students with a unique pathway to explore aviation, develop leadership skills, and grow in character through faith-based mentorship. This program prepares students for real-world success in aviation and beyond.
Year 1
Introduction to Aviation – Foundations
Students begin their aviation journey by exploring the history and science of flight. Through interactive projects and experiments, they will learn the basic forces of flight and how aircraft achieve controlled movement.
Year 3
Drone Operations & Certification
Students enter the world of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) by learning drone flight operations and FAA safety regulations. This course prepares students to earn a professional drone operator certification.
Year 2
Introduction to Aviation – Systems & Navigation
Students advance their understanding by studying aircraft systems, navigation techniques, and aviation safety protocols. They will gain hands-on experience using flight simulators and begin basic flight planning.
Year 4
Private Pilot Preparation
In their final year, students begin formal preparation for the FAA Private Pilot’s License. This course includes advanced flight theory, ground school instruction, and in-air flight experiences through the Wings of Grace Flight Scholarship.
