Event Description

Learning Forward Education Center is continuously reaching out and building up our Brevard Community. We truly appreciate each and every person that is willing to embark on this journey with us in reducing child retention. There are numerous ways to volunteer at LFE Center.

• Tutoring
• Coaching (Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Flag Football, Cheerleading)
• Readers Theater
• Minecraft or Roblox Instructors
• Fundraising
• Mentoring

First, we work along side children ranging from age 5-15 in our facility so we require background checks on all volunteers. Background checks can be done through Brevard County School Board or in person at our office. Occasionally we find if you have school age children and attended a field trip Brevard County School Board background check has already been done.

Additional Information

Some volunteering opportunities we ask for a committed number of weeks. For example, if you say your available Tuesdays at 3 for tutoring volunteers we ask you do 8 weeks.
