Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Hadley.  I have two boys, one pre-teen and one teenager.  I graduated from Florida Metropolitan University with an Associate's Degree in Film and Video. I’ve also worked in the medical field as a healthcare professional for 15 years.  I’ve worked with children of all ages, including adults, and patients with varying exceptionalities.  I am passionate about my role in your children’s social and emotional well-being.  To quote Vince Gowmon, “Education begins the moment we see children as innately wise and capable beings. Only then can we play along in their world.”

Alyssa staton

FLVS Facilitator

My name is Alyssa Staton.  I grew up in a rural town where I gained a greater sense of community. I participated in People to People, which allowed me to travel Europe and observe firsthand some of the most magnificent and inspiring art pieces in human history. I consider all forms of Art to be an avenue for learning beyond what we anticipate. I started working in Education in 2019. I am currently learning ASL and I am in the process of completing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at UOP.

Upper School Math Instructor

My name is Samuel J. Staton. I am the Math Instructor.  I have been married for 10 years and am the proud parent of two inquisitive children ages 10 and 7. I graduated from AIU with  a Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Forensic Science. I then found my passion in education. I have continued to work with students in and out of the classroom for the last four years. In 2022, I completed my Master of Arts in Elementary Education from UOP. I grew up as a coach’s son.  I played baseball, basketball, and football, and I observed firsthand the positive influence sports have on the lives of our youth.

Educator for twelve years. Passionate about teaching hands-on science and math. In addition to teaching in a traditional classroom, I've also worked as an educator at the Brevard Zoo and the Tallahassee Museum.
